Who WE ARE

Preceding SafeAssure, Jim and Chad Peterson (Father and Son) were working separately for organizations that provided pieces of safety components for companies. Jim worked in insurance (including Workman's Compensation) and could see the need for safer workplaces. Chad worked for a safety consulting firm providing training on the OSHA Standards. While working in the private sector they noticed that organizations struggled with safety matters. Employers wanted their employees to be safe, they wanted to comply with OSHA but were confused by the Standards, unsure of their interpretation, and unsure of where and how to begin.

Jim and Chad realized that they were both working and committed to the same goal - employee safety. They also realized that if they could provide all of the components of a safety program (not just bits and pieces) it would be in demand. SafeAssure opened its doors for business on January, 1998. They started helping a few local companies and soon expanded to greater Minnesota and the Twin City Metro area. Today the company is expanding their new online training to include the other 49 states as well.
